Review: Yoshoi snapea rice sticks

I love trying new & intriguing foods & flavours.

It's like a hobby now.

If there is something I've never heard of before, I feel compelled to try it.

I never want to miss out.

I might miss something that is totally amazing & I never new it.

That's exactly how I felt when I heard about these new Yushoi snacks.

Made with green peas and rice, I was intrigued.

And in flavour combinations I love but I've not tried in a snack before.

I HAD to try them.

Turns out they were totally amazing & I can't believe I never new until now.

These Yushoi snacks are only 95 calories per very generous portion, are baked not fried, high in fibre, a source of protein, contain no msg, artificial colours or flavours and are suitable for vegans making them the perfect healthier alternative to potato crisps.

Currently the snacks come in four flavours; Lightly salted, Sweet Chillin & Lemon, Soy & balsamic vinegar & smoked salt & Szechuan pepper, although they are working on perfecting new flavour combo's as we speak which I am very excited to hear about!

They are all delicious and packed full of flavour and come in two sizes, individual bags and sharing bags.

I made the mistake of opening a sharing bag when we had family over thinking it would be good to get their opinion on them.

There was lots and lots of 'Mmmm'ing and not much talking. They were far too busy demolishing the entire bag!

The kids even threw a strop when the bag was empty.

I think we can safely say they went down well with the whole family here and my Mum even asked where she could buy some as she wanted to get some for herself.

In answer to that question, they are currently available in Morrisons, Tesco, Co-op, Selfridges, Ocado, Whole food market, amazon & WH Smiths.

P is another massive fan who is desperate to buy more of these for him to take to work.

He is an absolute snack monster as it is, but his particular love is maize style crisps. You know like space raiders & monster munch types? He always says he just loves 'kids crisps'.

Well these have the same kind of texture as a maize snack but with a much more grown-up feel about them with their packaging & flavours which is perfect for him!

My particular love is that the pea snacks themselves are pea pod shaped! Nice little touch there.
