Easter Gift Guide

The joy of Spring is in the air, the fields are full of baby lambs and the birds are chirping in the trees.

It can only mean one thing....

Easter is nearly upon us!

Which can kinda be stressful, especially when you have 3 of your own children to play Easter Bunny to, 10 nieces and nephews to buy for and a family gathering to participate in.

It also means my children can get inundated with chocolate so not only do I have a range of delicious sweet treats to show you here, there are also some great non-chocolate alternatives as well as gifts suitable for the grown ups in your life.

So sit back and let me take the stress out of Easter gift hunting and check out my recommendations below.

Divine chocolate have a huge range of delicious Easter treats that are, well, utterly divine!
Everything covered from luxury eggs to little eggs perfect from egg hunts. And of course, with the Divine brand you know you are getting high quality products made with fairtrade ingredients. My particular favourites are the Hot Cross Bun chocolate bars (rrp £2.49), Smooth Dark egg with pink Himalayan Salt which is also Vegan (rrp £5) and the Gourmet Popcorn Egg made with Joe & Seph's popcorn (rrp £10).

Easter doesn't always have to mean chocolate's and sugary treats.
My sister puts on an Easter Egg Hunt for all of the children in the family every year so I always get her something to say thanks. These flowers from www.blossominggifts.com are just perfect.
They have a whole range of beautiful Spring bouquets that you can gift to a family member or friend this Easter or treat yourself to some to adorn your Easter table.
The bouquets can be delivered nationwide and come really well packaged and fresh. I would highly recommend them for any flowers you need to send, not just at Easter.

Prices start from £22.99 with this beautiful Spring rose and lily bouquet pictured being £25.99.

Another non chocolate treat here from Superdrug which is perfect for adults but also any teens/ pre-teens who are outgrowing the whole Easter bunny thing! We all know teens are much more into beauty that chocolate these days and this Mandarin and Lime Basil Beauty egg is a fab alternative.
The beautiful tin egg contains a delightfully zesty 50ml fragrance inside and retails at £5 along with lots of other beauty filled eggs from www.superdrug.com and in store.

If you have any peanut butter lovers in your life like I do (my husband is obsessed!) then this Reese's egg is a must have.
The box comes with a large hollow milk chocolate egg plus three Reese's Peanut butter creme eggs.

The Reese's eggs are available from Tesco for £6 and the Reese's creme eggs can be bought individually for 60p each from Tesco, BP and Spar.

This fabulous Italian Easter Cake called Columba from www.souschef.com is the perfect edition to any Easter Feast, whether that be on a buffet table at a family gathering for all to tuck into, dessert after a traditional Lamb roast on Easter Sunday or an indulgent Easter breakfast treat.
The website offers a chocolate Columba for £11.95 or this beautiful Luxury Pistachio & White chocolate Columba gift box which includes a Columba cake (think panettone but with chocolate) topped with white chocolate and whole pistachios, a jar of seductively smooth pistachio cream & a knife to spread on slice after slice. The gift set is £29.95 available here.

If I'm gonna have chocolate, for me, it's gonna be Belgian. And Guylian make the most delicious Belgian chocolate!
Available in both small (135g) and medium (275g) these beautifully presented gift boxes include the iconic Guylian praline Sea Shells, made using only the finest, hand selected Mediterranean hazelnuts, along with apremium Belgian chocolate egg (rrp £4 small, £8 medium) available from all major supermarkets, selected independent stores and online at www.guylian.com

If, like my kids, yours end up over run with sweet treats around Easter, you may want to think about an alternative. I always look to get them something they can 'do' with an Easter theme nowadays, which also serves to keep them entertained over the Easter holidays too!
These Fuzzikin Bunnyies are perfect! The box comes complete with 3 bunnies with sleeping bags and pens for you to decorate. The bunnies can also be washed and coloured time and time again!
Fuzzikins Bedtime Bunnies retails at £9.99 and can be found here.

Easter treats don't always have to be chocolate! Whilst my daughter would eat chocolate until the cows come home, my two sons much prefer to get their teeth into sweeties!
Haribo have some limited edition Easter packs which include this chick 'n' mix box, a similar bunny & friends and special packs of starmix 'hunt the double yolk' packs which give you the chance to win a holiday if you find a double yolker inside!

Haribo limited edition Easter packs are available from all large supermarkets.

Both new fragrances, Easter Basket and Rainbow Shake have been inspired by the pastel colour palette of spring and will take you back to energetic Easter-egg hunts. Creating charming ambiance with the simple light of a wick, these candles are the perfect calories-free alternative gift to chocolate eggs!
'Easter Basket' is a fruity mix of lime, Brazillian orange and patchouli whilst 'Rainbow Shake' combines pineapple whip, toasted almonds and cinnamon to create a super sweet scent.

When you think egg, you think Kinder right? All year round, these little eggs are a firm children's favourite & as Easter approaches, Kinder has launched a whole new Easter range.
